ARF National Meeting 2020
Time & Location
About The Event
Just like last year, this is a different retina meeting style. No SUITS, no podiums. This is a casual meeting where discussion is prioritized over long lectures.
Our goal is to discuss things that matter to retina specialists so we can learn from each other and better take care of our patients. This Forum allows a deeper dive into the complexities of medical and surgical diseases that affect the retina and vitreous as well as the practical aspects of being a retinal specialist.
This year our invited guest is Mark Humayun MD PhD, recipient of the National Medal of Technology and Innovation from President Barack Obama for his innovative work and development of the Argus II retinal implant for the treatment of vision loss from Retinitis Pigmentosa.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in addition to live attendees (as allowed by local regulations) we will have an online only option for those who cannot or choose not to travel. They will have access to be a part of the discussions as well unlike other online meetings. For those who come in person, we will be observing best practices to ensure everyone's safety and prevent the transmission of the coronavirus. Masks will be required of all in person participants.
This meeting was approved for up to 10.0 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 CME
